DICKINSON, N.D. (KFYR) - Fire crews in Dickinson responded to a structure fire Thursday night.
Dickinson Fire Chief Jeremy Presnell says the Fire Department responded to a house fire with an occupant trapped in the basement on the 100 block of Fourth Street E at 8:54pm.
Firefighters quickly arrived on-scene extinguishing the fire shortly after arrival allowing the occupant to escape through a window.
The Fire Dept was assisted on-scene by the Dickinson Police, Ambulance, and Rural Fire Departments. There were no injuries, but the house sustained significant smoke and fire damage.
**ACTIVE INCIDENT** #DickinsonFD crews are on-scene of an active structure fire on the 100 block of Fourth Street East. Please avoid the area while crews are diligently working to mitigate the incident.
